Strange little wonders, forged one at a time.
Vellichor Forge is my small art studio in South Jersey, where hats become little canvases and one experiment usually leads to three more. I make embroidered hats, art patches, and other curious pieces with one foot in modern digital art and the other somewhere between an old curiosity shop, a craft-fair table, and a late-night science-fiction film.
Some ideas start on paper. Others take shape through digital experiments and a little help from AI. I choose what feels right, work through the colors and details, and refine the artwork so it can become real embroidery.
Then comes the part you can touch: choosing the thread, running my embroidery machine, watching the stitches come together, trimming, finishing, and photographing each piece. I work with sourced blank hats and add the artwork and embroidery here in my studio.
The work comes together one piece at a time, in small batches and changing color combinations. I like things with a little nostalgia, a little mischief, and enough personality to start a conversation.
